Best to Buy

Look for cod that smells fresh like the ocean with clear eyes, clean gills, and moist, shiny scales. Fresh cod will give slightly when you press it and then spring back into shape.

Prep & Store

Remove packaging, rinse fish under cold water, and pat dry. Refrigerated covered with crushed ice and cling wrap for up to two days.

Quick & Easy Recipe

Grill fillets on perforated aluminum foil and baste with marinade until fish is opaque and moist on the inside, about 8 to 10 minutes.

Nutrition Notes

Cod is an excellent source of selenium, niacin, and vitamin B12 and a good source of magnesium and potassium.
